Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Please read these terms carefully before booking a service or enrolling in a membership with Antimatter Detailing LLC.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Antimatter Detailing LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By booking a service, creating an account, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Appointments & Deposits

All service bookings with Antimatter Detailing LLC require a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of scheduling. In certain cases, staff may configure a booking to require full payment upfront; if that option is presented at checkout, full payment is due before the appointment is confirmed.

The deposit secures your appointment slot, covers scheduling costs, and compensates for the time reserved by our technicians. By completing your booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these deposit terms.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, rescheduling requests, or failure to be present at the time of service.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a partial refund. The refund will equal the amount paid minus the 25% non-refundable deposit. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to staff discretion. In most cases, no refund will be issued for late cancellations. This policy exists because our technicians have already allocated travel time, product resources, and their schedule to your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact us as early as possible if a cancellation is unavoidable.

To request a cancellation or reschedule, please contact us directly at 717-925-0473 or [email protected].

3. Elemental Car Club Membership Terms

The Elemental Car Club membership program entitles the member to one (1) maintenance detail per billing cycle. Membership services do not roll over — unused service credits expire at the end of each billing period and cannot be accumulated, transferred, or redeemed retroactively.

Each membership tier grants access to specific package levels only. Members may redeem any package at or below their tier level, as follows:

Membership TierEligible Packages
Elemental BaseRegular Matter Full Detail
Elemental ProRegular Matter Full Detail, New Matter Full Detail
Elemental ExclusiveRegular Matter, New Matter, or Antimatter Full Detail

Members may not redeem a package above their current tier level. Antimatter Detailing LLC reserves the right to verify membership tier eligibility at the time of service. Misrepresentation of tier level or package entitlement may result in membership cancellation without refund.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable. They apply to a single registered vehicle per account unless otherwise agreed in writing. Memberships may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued upon cancellation.

4. Service Upcharges & Vehicle Condition

Each appointment slot is scheduled and timed to match the specific service package booked. If, upon arrival or pre-inspection, our technicians determine that a vehicle requires a level of care and time that exceeds the booked package, the service will be upgraded to the appropriate next package tier and billed accordingly. This determination is made at the sole discretion of our staff.

Vehicles assessed as excessively soiled — beyond the reasonable standard for the booked service — are subject to a flat $50 surcharge. This applies to conditions including but not limited to: heavy pet hair, severe odor, extensive biohazard material, extreme dirt accumulation, or any condition that materially increases the time and product resources required.

Customers will be informed of any upcharge before work begins whenever reasonably possible. Proceeding with the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the adjusted price. If a customer declines the upcharge and chooses not to proceed, the non-refundable deposit is retained per Section 1.

5. Marketing & Communications

By providing your email address and/or phone number to Antimatter Detailing LLC — whether through account registration, service booking, or any other interaction — you consent to receive communications from us. These may include promotional emails, seasonal offers, service announcements, loyalty rewards updates, and referral program information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely by Antimatter Detailing LLC for the purposes described above.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, by replying STOP to any SMS, or by contacting us directly at [email protected]. Please note that transactional communications (booking confirmations, payment receipts, appointment reminders) are not affected by marketing opt-outs and will continue as needed.

6. Limitation of Liability

Antimatter Detailing LLC takes every precaution to protect your vehicle during service. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions that are present prior to service commencement. Customers are encouraged to document and disclose any pre-existing damage prior to the start of service.

We are not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle. We recommend removing all valuables, documents, and personal belongings before your appointment.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

7. Right to Refuse Service

Antimatter Detailing LLC reserves the right to refuse, decline, or cancel service at its sole discretion for any lawful reason, including but not limited to: safety concerns, unsafe vehicle or property conditions, abusive or threatening behavior toward staff, or situations where completing service would be impractical or impossible. In such cases, if work has not yet commenced, a partial refund of amounts paid beyond the non-refundable deposit may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Changes to These Terms

Antimatter Detailing LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
